LOMMEL (Belgio) luglio 2024 – I Campionati mondiali di motocross FIM 2024 si dirigono verso la sabbia profonda dello Stedelijk Motorcrossterrein Lommel per l’ MXGP delle Fiandre nel Belgio nord-orientale questo fine settimana!
La natura spietata di questo circuito lo rende uno dei più impegnativi dal punto di vista fisico per i piloti, e la sua vicinanza al confine olandese garantirà un sacco di supporto, aiutando i migliori corridori olandesi ancora di più della familiarità della superficie morbida!
Il campionato mondiale MXGP è attualmente guidato dal cinque volte campione del mondo Tim Gajser, dopo una straordinaria vittoria dello sloveno all’MXGP della Repubblica Ceca, ma il suo più vicino sfidante, e campione del mondo in carica, Jorge Prado, si è dichiarato “The King of the Sand” all’MXGP della Sardegna, e l’uomo che chiamano “The Bullet”, Jeffrey Herlings, vorrebbe tanto riprendersi quella corona con i suoi fan locali proprio sulla spalla! Questi tre sono stati inseparabili questa stagione, e uno qualsiasi di loro potrebbe far pendere l’ago della bilancia dalla sua parte questo fine settimana!
La classe MX2 dovrebbe vedere una battaglia simile, poiché i compagni di squadra della Nestaan Husqvarna Kay de Wolf e Lucas Coenen guidano la serie, entrambi sono dei veri e propri demoni sulla sabbia, ed entrambi avranno un gruppo sano e rumoroso di fan che li incita! L’atmosfera potrebbe rivelarsi assolutamente fuori dal mondo, un’esperienza che sicuramente non vorrai perderti!

LOMMEL (Belgium) 26 July 2024 – The 2024 FIM World Motocross Championships head to the deep sand of the Stedelijk Motorcrossterrein Lommel for the MXGP of Flanders in north-eastern Belgium this weekend!
The unforgiving nature of this circuit makes it physically one of the toughest for the riders, and its close proximity to the Dutch border will see plenty of support, helping the top racers from the Netherlands even more than the familiarity of the soft surface!
The MXGP World Championship is currently led by five-time World Champion Tim Gajser, after a stunning win for the Slovenian at the MXGP of Czech Republic, but his closest challenger, and reigning World Champion, Jorge Prado, declared himself “The King of the Sand” at the MXGP of Sardegna, and the man they call “The Bullet”, Jeffrey Herlings, would dearly love to take that crown back with his local fans right on his shoulder! These three have been inseparable this season, and any one of them could swing the momentum their way this weekend!
The MX2 class should see a similar battle, as the Nestaan Husqvarna teammates Kay de Wolf and Lucas Coenen lead the series, both are absolute demons in the sand, and both will have a healthy and vocal pack of fans urging them on! The atmosphere could prove to be absolutely out of this world, one you certainly don’t want to miss!
